Windows 10 upgrade changes default printer

Windows 10 upgrade seems to sometimes change the default printer from what it was before the upgrade. This is especially an issue if you have a 3rd party software called TSPrint installed on your local computer, and you rely on a default printer to be forwarded to your terminal server.

As a recommendation, try turning the feature Let Windows manage my default printer off and check if you are still facing the issue. To do so follow the steps below:


Open Settings and click on the Devices icon.


Click on Printers & scanners on the left side, and turn off Let Windows manage my default printer.
